Black Opal Ring, 14kt Gold & Sterling Silver

Opal is a stone with so many personalities, and this black opal in my Flowing Water Opal Ring might be my favorite yet! The opal is rose cut, and shimmers from its depths with reds, oranges, greens, blues and yellows depending on where the light hits. Truly an amazing stone.

I've set the opal in fine silver, and surrounded it with four nice sized 14kt spheres to set it off. The ring is crafted from Argentium silver, which is much more tarnish resistant than sterling silver, in my Flowing Water style. It's a bit adjustable, but not easily - I can adjust for you, or take it to a local jeweler to adjust.

The band is about 3/4 inch wide, and the ring in the front is 1 inch high; the opal is almost 1/2inch long x 1/4 inch wide. Currently sized at an 8.5, fits like a 7.5 on my finger, best sized at a 7.5-10. To figure your size for this ring, size your finger in the middle between the base of your finger and first knuckle.
